My Story

When your little sister tells you she's running a half marathon, it's only feels right that, as a big brother, you take on the challenge with her. In doing so, I will be joining her to help to raise as much money as we can for the Alzheimer's Society, in memory of our wonderful Grandma.

Grandma was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia, in 2020, with substantial deterioration continuing until her passing in 2022. We watched her memory fade, whilst struggling to remember her own family, but one thing's for sure: we'll always remember Grandma, and the selfless lady that she always was.

Thank you for your donations, and hopefully one day, with continued research, we can live in a world we're nobody has to watch their loved ones suffer with any kind of dementia.
